About me

I grew up in a suburb of Los Angeles, California, and moved to Europe in 2013. In 2023, I moved to Seattle to complete my graduate education and start my practice.

I have a Master’s in Counseling Psychology from The Seattle School of Theology & Psychology. For my undergraduate degree, I have a Bachelor’s in Sociology with a minor in Social Psychology from California State University, Chico. In my previous work, I was involved in a number of grassroots initiatives and social justice organizations, including running a drop-in center.

I am always continuing to learn, and I do that primarily through consultation and continuing education. I hold an in-process Associate License in the state of Washington, license number MHCA.MC.70108217. I’m under the supervision of Joshua Loy, license number LH60637078.

I strive to be actively aware of my power and privilege as a white, straight, cisgender woman, and I am committed to ongoing anti-racist work within myself and my community. I bring an anti-oppression, intersectionalist, feminist approach to my work. Therapy will always be an exercise in encounter, and I will continually work to bring my full awareness to the socio-historic context we inhabit. My pronouns are she/her/hers.

In my free time, I can be found in or by the ocean, walking the beach with my friends and family, cooking, and reading—typically with a couple of creative projects underway.

All therapy, to some degree, is grief work. Healing asks us to reimagine our assumptions in service of a more integrated, holistic form of human flourishing. It means engaging the tension and duality of being human in a world shaped by both possibility and uncertainty. This pursuit is not fixed, but ongoing—an evolving process that calls for continual reflection, adaptation, and care.
