New Ground
I am an independent therapist contracted with New Ground Counseling Group, through which I provide clinical services. While I maintain my own private practice, all scheduling and services are facilitated through New Ground Counseling Group. You can learn more or book directly through my New Ground profile here.
On Insurance…
I am currently an in-network provider for Premera Insurance through New Ground Counseling Group.
Choosing not to bill insurance directly can offer a number of advantages. It allows for more flexible scheduling, helps keep your personal health information more private, and ensures that decisions about the length, focus, and pace of therapy are guided solely by your needs and our clinical judgment—not by insurance requirements.
Additionally, working with insurance typically involves receiving a formal mental health diagnosis, which becomes part of your medical record.
If you’d like to explore whether your insurance plan offers any out-of-network reimbursement, I encourage you to contact your provider for details about your specific coverage. I am happy to provide a superbill that you may submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement.
Getting Started
We begin with a free 15-minute phone consultation — a chance to ask questions, share a little of what brings you here, and assess if we will be a good fit.
Under the No Surprises Act, beginning in 2022, clients who pay out-of-pocket are entitled to a Good Faith Estimate for treatment, which will be provided at the outset of care and updated as needed.
